Only a few weeks into her Femme Fatale tour, a rumor has surfaced that Britney is cracking under the pressure of her summer tour schedule and has retreated to binge eating fast food and candy and isn’t sleeping well. As with most rumors, there has been no verification of this other than an unnamed source, but with numerous world tours already under her belt, it’s hard to believe that she’ll have to add any notches any time soon. If the rumors are true, we’ll soon see a plumper Britney in the tabloids…

In the recent Rolling Stone magazine “Queen of Pop” list, various bubblegum divas wrestled for the title. The list was based on earnings from 2009 through 2011, most of which time Britney was out of the public eye working on her latest album Femme Fatale and preparing for the Femme Fatale tour. Unfortunately, our number one princess didn’t top the list. She was beat by the much stranger Lady GaGa who was on a massive world tour and apparently raked in the dough. Britney’s touring partner Nicki Minaj also made the list which included Taylor Swift, Rihanna, P!nk (surprisingly) and Katy Perry. Better luck next time Brits!

With the Femme Fatale tour finally underway, Britney has dropped a new video for the single I Wanna Go. The video features Britney in full Femme Fatale mode, high heels, berating the press and then launching into the streets of Toronto or wherever the video was shot to flash tourists, make out with cops and battle terminators posing as paparazzi. It’s wild, check it out:

Now that the Femme Fatale tour is finally underway we have a chance to see if Britney still has it and what exactly a Britney and Nicki team up looks like. You can see for yourself in the clip below. Britney is just mailing in her performance until Nicki Minaj shows up, at which point Britney actually exits the stage. Nicki obliterates her portion of the Til the World Ends:

Britney Spears’ father Jamie Spears is listed as conservator of Britney and her mass of accumulated wealth until she’s deemed mentally fit to handle her own affairs. Only post-modern America could create a situation where a 29-year-old international pop star and celebrity capable of recording an album and performing on a world tour would be ruled unable to manage her own affairs, and then require her father to ask a judge for a raise. Jamie Spears is also one of the key people in charge of the gargantuan Femme Fatale tour machine and has asked the judge to be compensated somewhere in the 7-figure range. Chances are he’s probably worth it.

Electronic geek Moby recently came out in the press dissing Britney Spears’ music as “advertisements for ringtones.” He also said that he doesn’t think what Britney, the Black Eyed Peas, Kei$ha or Rihanna do “is music,” contrary to what he does. In a strange twist of fate, the karma police came after Moby at a recent show where he was electrocuted and fans avidly took pictures and shot video while the musical artist lay prone on the ground.
